Correct … you have to keep the money in the IRA. However, you can use that money to buy more property in your IRA… It’s complicated, but not as bad as you’d think .

I have land in Self Directed IRA and yes you are not supposed to use it.. you can rent it/crop lease or take timber income off of it . Mine is a 40 acres—you can’t see from the road . I’ve actually never hunted on it, but scooped up some sheds from it . Never seen an IRS agent on it ;) .. once...

I cut a bunch of cedar limbs today in Minnesota. Created potential beds, trails and open spots . It was very thick in there and this should help. I forgot to take pictures, but will get a few when I’m done .

Can someone post the number of NR deer hunters ? I saw 22k in 2021? It’s a big state with more deer habitat —different than Iowa. I could fully accept a cap on NR, as long as it’s not low like Iowa (6000) . Skip mentioned 15,000? I could see that being acceptable? I have no idea where that...

I can speak from experience and lots of years of meetings and discussions on moving the gun season back in Minnesota. It’s very difficult!!! Borderline impossible. Many hunters do not bow hunt and they enjoy seeing a buck chase a doe by their stands while in rut . They hunt in small groups...
