Could be a button buck, I've seen growth like that on yearlings that were born early.

Agree, I was using the same weight and draw length years ago. As I was slipping out for the day, I stepped on a branch that snapped and two buck stood up 20 yards from me. That didn't know what made the noise and just slowly started walking away. I stomped on the ground like an alarmed deer...

My son, who's not picky, shot this buck with double beams connected at the bottom, on November 8th. Personally, I would have liked to see what he would have turned into!

He's 20 3/8" inside, 22" outside. Beams are 23" and 22 1/4".

He'll be back chasing does in a couple days. Had that happen may years ago. The next day while a group of us went looking and jumped some does, when they ran, he came out and followed them like nothing happened. Four years later he was taken about 2 miles away, scored 171". Good luck to you!
