I've heard that 2-4D can delay germination, but didn't know if it applied only to broadleafs.

I drilled some Switch on April 16th and came back on May 2nd and sprayed a combo of 2-4D and Simazine. Will the 2-4D affect the germination of the new Switch? Hopefully I didn't screw up!

I burned 2 weeks ago and had switch sprouting already last Monday....20 minutes south of Iowa City.

Does Simazine have to be sprayed on bare soil, or would it help a new stand from last year that was mowed last fall and is 6-8" tall?
