For whatever reason, the SST’s through my slug gun are absolute hammers! Not in the muzzleloader though.

And if you trap in the water with pocket sets, you can catch all sorts of stuff I’ve personally caught coons, muskrats, mink, beaver, possums, and otters in pocket sets.

I also had 1 night where I caught 9 that I assume we’re heading to her house. Lol!!!!

I use cheap, regular old dry cat food. Stick the trap smack dab in the middle of a hot trail, come back and collect your coon the next day. And remember to gang set, if you have enough traps….my personal best was 5 outta 6 over the course of 50 yards. Major coon trail going from the timber to...

I feel like South Dakota is very fair on their NR fishing license price. I think for a year it’s around $100. I go up there for two five day trips, June and September, and have done it the last two years. The fishing there, even when it’s slow, is pretty great!

The reason the state government needs revenue…..all the tax cuts. People were thrilled about it, but now we’re just paying more for the same shit to cover the difference.

Whenever I get permission, I always get a phone number and let them know when I intend on being there. Especially when night hunting coyotes! I don’t want to surprise anyone when they hear gunshots near their house after dark.
