Why would the DNR be all over a guy that shot a deer with a tag on it? The DNR tags animals so that once legally harvested by a hunter, they can learn about its' travels once the hunter reports the tag kill.

I'll have to check on it, but that doesn't happen in MN as...

There is more to this story than what has been reported in the paper, and I am not going to spread the rumors in a public forum. I'm just saying that those of you who seem to be so eager to jump to Craig's defense might want to reconsider, given that you have a very small amount of...
Wow! There does seem to be a lot of rumors flying around about what happened. My opinion....If this hunter did not see the tag and the buck was just walking as a deer would....He should be able to keep the buck. Doesn't matter if it were someone's pet at one point. Good conversation piece...

I made it out Sat morning and the rain wasn't too bad, but dang that wind!! Swaying side to side....I was being rocked to sleep. ha, ha That's the only chance I had to make it out. Oh well....still great being able to hunt again!!
Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but has anyone looked through the Vortex line of binos? I haven't, but there is a lot of hype surrounding these and I'm wondering if they are what some say they are.
The last time I was looking at P41's, the going rate was anywhere between 130-150 as ironwood said. And most pre-dipped camo cases run somewhere around 45-50 shipped. The P41's were going for around 95-110 in May-June. Dang trail camera guys. lol
