Ok..I have always heard and have thought that don't shoot a rifled slug out of a rifled barrel because it will screw up the rifling in the barrel. So shoot any non-rifled slug in it(probably mostly sabots). And then always shoot a rifled slug out of a smooth bore barrel to give you the spin...
Monster,
"In theory" what I wanted to do, would just be turning this stand into a hand climber and not a full surround climber. So it wouldn't make it any less safe than any other hand climber.
I just got off the phone with a Summit guy. Apparently that front bar holds the whole top square...
I have a summit viper x4 and I really don't like the bar in front of me while I'm hunting. I don't really have the cash to plunk down on a different top, so I was wondering if anyone has done this or do you think I would mess with the top's structure/integrity if I cut the bar off just after it...

It seems that I'm on a every two year swap on strings. But I wax my string religously and ALWAYS check for anytype of fraying. From cam to cam I always check. I guess it all depends on how much you wax your string and ultimately how much you shoot.
Obviously depending on the terrain and the actual size of this "thick" stuff, wouldn't you want to hunt the fridges/exit/entrance routes to the thick stuff anyway? If it's that thick and tough to navigate, wouldn't you be alerting everything in the area by entering it to hunt? Whether it be...
Extremely valid point Fish, but honestly how hard is it to vote multiple times if your computer literate or somehow have hacked into the poll? It's been brought up, but who knows. Maybe ESPN has some type of interest in this BS and therefore is "keeping" tabs on the poll. They certainly...
Fellas,
I'm sure most or all feel really strong about this whole thing. Go to this link, scroll to the bottom and VOTE! NO!!
