    Road screen help -ideas

I feel your pain. We'll be plantimg some saplings this year and egyptian wheat to create some habitat in the front of our property. The road is probably 20ft above us so were going to put a 10ft wide section of egyptian wheat along the fence until the trees kick in. Sent from my SM-G965U...

    2018 - 19 season perspectives

It was my first year hunting my new property. Found out a lot about how the deer use the property and area around it during late season. Next go around with a few changes I think I should have no problem. New stand placement and a few acres of food and getting some fruit trees in should make...

2019 Farm Projects, What are yours?

I had the DNR forester stop out on Monday to stop out to look the property over. He had a lot of good info to share. Came up with a plan for this spring and i put in an order for 400 saplings from the nursery. Got some chinkapins, whites, walnuts, sycamores and plums. He suggested 5ft grow...

Gun Pushing Deer Hunters VS Stand, management & bowhunters....

I'm relatively new to hunting. My father-in-law got me started 5 years ago but I've been fortunate enough to be on both sides. That being said I never had a good experience with any of the two seperate groups I was brought to for pushing. Both groups on seperate years got stopped by the DNR...

2019 Farm Projects, What are yours?

Going to start a bunch of saplings and ground cover off St. Charles Road. It was previously pasture but I would like to screen it. We've got a bunch of oaks, maples, plum, apple, persimmon and American Bittersweet to start The back is nestled between 100 acres of CRP and next to a large...

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

Talked with Madison CO today and he confirmed that it's perfectly legal as long as it falls into the legal definition. Have fun. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

I'd agree that a lot of these changes would be a lot more tolerable if drives went away. Nothing wrong with being able to ethically put the animal down cleaner. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Last year we had one and this year I got one just like that as well. Not sure if it's cause by injury or what

I've always had great luck with my Wasp Jak-Knife. Slender profile, strong as hell tip and feels just like a field point.

    2018 Rut report

My buddy and I went out on Saturday in Madison county. Quiet until around 8am then had 3 does hauling ass with a 2.5 year old hot on their trail. Shortly after another young buck came through. Next 20 minutes there was nothing but bucks chasing does doing circles around my stand. Had a...

Guys or teams doing “live hunts” or any update to follow story

I'll be doing something like that later this year going into next season for my property. First year here and I've already found out a lot being sandwiched between 100 acres of CRP and thick timber. A mile and a half east of me is pure old timber and grassland. It's super hilly so its...

    2018 Rut report

Yep. I'm just east of the water treatment facility and at first light had about 5 bucks come in to grunting ready to go. One good 8 point but I'm still holding out. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Views from the stand 2018-19

Wish I could've gotten a video of it but I had what I would assume to be a Blackhawk flying west over the middle river bank right over me about 200ft above the tree tops and turn around. I'm sure it spooked the deer but it was cool to see that close. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
