I wear fleece all the time, and I just give up. I always have cockel burrs in them, so I just hunt with it the way it is because I got tired of fighting them.
If you want to remove them, I have found that the stiff comb idea works well also
Sit for atleast an hour. If he stops gobbling more than likely he's a coming just yelp softly every now and then he will show up. Last year I learned that alot of the birds on our place will come in quiet!

I have never had any luck with those calls. Last year while scouting before season I got the most gobbles when I would slam my truck door. The turkeys were just shock gobbling at the sound of the door slamming shut. This was before daylight on a crisp morning so they were gobbling their heads...

It always seems like I have been able to call turkeys up a hill, like on to a ridge top. I have some areas that it would be much easier to come in from the bottom and call them down the hill. Has anyone ever had any luck calling a turkey down hill off a ridge top?
Junk or good? I have one friend I have seen use it. He lives in Montana and does alot of stalk type hunting for antelope, and says it works great on whitetails also. I am thinking about trying it, because I do not like the arrow falling off the rest all of the time and this looks like the cure.
