Sadly the trend from this IMO is that we see many more "Bone Collectors" and "Dream Season" chasers than we see people who support conservation groups and fight for the things that will impact an outdoorsmans future.

I had a couple of my great grandfather's licenses framed last year. Both Wisconsin licenses, one is a set line license and one is a hunting license. Circa 1923 and 1928.
Though hunting may be tougher than most would like, I'm glad the critters are getting a break. It's hard to believe anything could have made it through last years Winter. This weather is deserved.
If you don't want to chance dealing with them, you'd be better off in Southern Iowa. The largest communities are in LaCrosse and the Twin Cities, which are relatively close to NE Iowa.
