We shot a smaller 8 and a doe this weekend. Lots of does, we did miss 3 good bucks! Hopefully this coming weekend turns up!

Most of the deer at my grandpas farm in Clarke County are dark colored racks. All 3 of the bucks I have shot off of there are dark, but my uncle did shoot a deer with a light colored rack. I have always wondered the same question, thanks for the information! :D

I bow hunt Central and Northern Warren County, and Clarke County (a couple miles off Madison County line). This year has been great, lots of deer and movement! Sucks that you ain't seeing anything! Keep at it!

I came up to a spot that had a puddle of blood about 100 yards in but it was on the trail and had small trees and stuff in and next to it so he couldn't have layer down there.

They are definitely out of the wind tonight, I have had a doe and fawn lay down and browse about 20 yards anyways since about 1:30. I can see into the field and nothing is on it.
