I too shot one this year, looked for a couple days and couldn't find him. Ended up finding him during shotgun season at the edge of a ditch hailing a** away from me, shots missed and he got away again. I have seen him several times now but never on camera. Maybe your deer is still around, or...
I see what you are saying Liv4Rut but Iowa has a lot more food so I think we'd have more deer. Just my opinion. Also you can't compare wooded ground in the states because that is like all Michigan is, wooded! Iowa is crop ground. People here don't only hunt wooded areas, so our acres per hunter...
Haha thanks guys!!! My uncle and Grandfathers names are in the article, Crees, lol I guess I'm a little behind :) Going to have to ask them about it today!
My grandpa was suppose to have a 40 by 64 metal building built by a company called Whitetial Construction. They are out of the Centerville area. The building was suppose to be built by the last weekend of June but it still isn't built!! Have called them hundreds of times, they said they are...

I bow hunt Central and Northern Warren County, and Clarke County (a couple miles off Madison County line). This year has been great, lots of deer and movement! Sucks that you ain't seeing anything! Keep at it!

I came up to a spot that had a puddle of blood about 100 yards in but it was on the trail and had small trees and stuff in and next to it so he couldn't have layer down there.
Around 2 o'clock today I shot a nice buck at 30 yards, deer was quartering away and the shot was in good placement, if not was slighty low. After about 20 minutes I got out just to see if I had any blood, no blood on impact but did have hair. I followed if for about 30 yards then I found my...
They are definitely out of the wind tonight, I have had a doe and fawn lay down and browse about 20 yards anyways since about 1:30. I can see into the field and nothing is on it.
