I think I have decided to sit in a stand about 50 yards off a field in the timber. There's also cedars directly to my south so I think the wind will be calm in that area. It worth a shot!!

With temperatures being in the 50's and wind being 20+ mph, it has me second guessing where to sit, timber or food source?? What's your thoughts??

Yeah the first price he told me was 200, he said he might be able to get it for 150! I don't know prices for capes just thought it was high, had one mounted this winter with a 24 inch cape and it was 80 bucks, it has got me thinkin it's a supply and demand during the summer months.

Here are some of the fish we have caught over the past couple of weeks. My brother and I have been going to Scott street, hoping to catch some walleye since we aren't big walleye fishermen, I have only caught 3 walleye in my life and my brother like 6-7 haha we don't count the little 6-7 inchers...

We have been catching walleye at Scott street for about 2 weeks now. We go and wade the river and have pretty good luck, i hate fishing off the bridge. Our biggest has been 22 inches, maybe 3 pounds, but have seen some 5-7 pounders getting caught every once in a while.
