I believe the first year establishment period is the only time that you can do the mowing. After the first year your are right.

All, considering a new Demco 60 gallon sprayer with 5gpm electric pump and 18' boom for UTV. Does anybody have any experience with these and recommend or not? Appears to be a high quality unit that is midway between the FIMCO stuff and the real high end Honda gas engine pump units.

I asked this same question a while back and didn’t get an answer. I did go ahead and spray it but used hand wand running along each side of the tree rows trying to keep the spray off the tree leaves. I don’t think cleth would hurt the trees but didn’t want to chance it.

Having slowness problems tonight

I also have problems with the site being slow every 3rd or so time I check it. So slow that I have to forego.

Talked to local office and they were correct for my program. My continuous is in HELI and the manual clearly states "CP12 (food plots) is not an an eligible practice associated with any HELI practice". The HELI is the only reason I was eligible for the continuous rather than general.

My FSA office told me that food plots were allowed in the General sign up but not continuous program. Yours said otherwise?

I am fighting canada thistles big time on my farm as well. I use a mixture of 2,4-D and gly and it does smoke them. Problem is the seedbank, I kill them off but they keep coming. Hopefully eventually I will get them all killed and seedbank will be depleted. Get them soon before they bloom...

I forget what the exact program is, but it is only eligible for watershed. Was able to do 180' each side of creek and 180' around the ponds.
