Haven't updated in awhile. Last week right of way clearing crew for the power company were coming through and I hired them for a day since they were around. The west side/fence row on the timber farm I bought last year severely needed some attention, not only for access but to be a good neighbor...

This was my first choice, though I missed the deadline and they were sold out by the time I thought of it. Been working on lots of projects with the new house....

Does anyone happen to have or know of a source for Pitch Loblolly Pine seedlings? Wanting to plant a bunch around the new house for wind block. Thx

Several other odds and ends from the leftover wood. Trimmed out my man cave cabinet tops, man doors and built my range hood in the kitchen from cedar as well. Invested in a table saw and tabel top planer as well, they have paid for themselves 10x over id say.

This is what I used as sealer/protectant Old timer that used to own kenmar lumber here in NCMO advised me it would help hold the rich red color of the wood. been pretty happy with the look.

Targeting cats and yotes the most. Coyotes are a lot harder to catch than cats. The diversity of the habitat on my place has lots of food for both coyotes and cats but the lack of immediate rowcrop on my farm its self makes it more conducive for the cats is what trapping buddies have told me. I...

I ran mostly peat moss, cheap and easy though not as good as that waxed dirt stuff.

You could run about as many as you have time to set/check/reset. I would start with a dozen or two and see how much you like it. it can be a chore. I put tcams on most of my sets but still checked them per trappin laws, I did a few double sets and I do believe that will up your odds a fair amount.
