Had a few boxelder trees blocking my solar panels. Just cut them up and am dragging the tops over by the bird feeder. Lots of fresh buds on the tips. Will take some pics when the deer find them.

Last week, I was walking a stretch of riverbottom in ND. Today, I walked the stretch of riverbottom in Mn.. Right side ND, left Mn. Bout 1/2 mile apart.

Had one like that show up after gun season. Also had a big rip in his hind quarter. He didn't last long.

Yep. even the smaller fawns are in great shape. Have to many deer around this area already and with the new crop of fawns coming, it's gonna blow out the carrying capacity. Shot at a coyote early this morning right down the road .. Will go check later to see iffn I got it.

Just looked out my back window. There are 28 deer within about 35 yards. Most I've seen at one time was 24. It's a slug_ fest out there. Lol. They are beating the crap out of each other competing for some wheat.

Total bust today. Spent 5 hours walking and didn't find one. Way more snow then I anticipated and the Deracio that we had last summer had the woods looking really messy. Will have to wait till the snow melts and try again. Was fun to get out though.

Thanks TR. Been the worst season in many years. Have only killed about 20. Best year was 164 coyotes Best day was 16. Called in 21 that day.

Yep, probably within 6 miles. Got another at lunch break today. Called a slough bottom. He popped out in 30 seconds. Laying right between the 2 trees far side of snowline in the bottom.

Started about noon. I hit the Red River between Mn/ ND. First 6 stands were a blank. 7th n 8th each had a pair come bombing in. Got all 4. The big red one was full speed at 10 yards in super tight brush. Was kind of a point n shoot. Lol. 2 died on the ice. Left them for the eagles.
