weve moved all our electric fencing to a single line in lieu of the 3d fence. We use 8' t posts. Much easier to maintain and just as affective it seems.
Not advised for foliar spray. Plant is pushing all its energy out of the ground outward. In the fall its the opposite, thus sucking in the herbicide to the roots. For spring you would have better results cut stump method.
Different farms no where close above. Most managed farms like that. Also kicked up a dozen pheasant discing in a bird plot we put in. No birds there a few years ago. All about building habitat
The bill would be a huge detriment to the residents of Iowa. I could care less what a NR's "intentions" are. How does it affect the people of THIS state? That's all that matters.
Share some sentiments with above. Will FIGHT theses changes but if this stste sells out I will do the same. Meaning, when land prices skyrocket my farms will get sold. Ill look west for hunting opportunities.
Moved hundreds this weekend. It takes about 30 seconds to dig one up by hand.
I plant them fairly close these days around 4'. I used to space them out more but closer creates a filled in screen quicker. Id say 98% survive. I prefer smaller ones. They dont get stunted and outgrow bigger ones anyway.
I think the law is mostly fine as it is.
Ill say this..... if the Iowa game retrieval law was ever challenged in courts id about guarentee it wouldnt hold up. Its a law that allows a complete stranger to access someone else's private property. Not law enforcement... a civilian. No chance that...
Zero justification on how this benefits residents of the state of Iowa. Teeing these politicians up on how they putting residents of another state ahead of their own constituents. Its total bullshit. Know this...... its all about getting campaign $$$$$ from wealthy donor
