I have been very successful with using off set method. 2 stands on inside and 1 stand outside. You must keep it tight and at correct height. Also fence it out from day 1 of planting.

I know your looking at new precision units....but you can buy these and with a little refreshing....you will have 4 new rows for less than one new precision meter. Spend that extra money on no till.

You just need some no till coulters and you will be ready. I have a jd 7000 4 row 36 in and it's been great. Do your maintenance before putting it in barn each year. It will last many more lifetimes.
