Finally got out on the ice for the early winter Brown Trout bite. There are numerous hard to get to stocked lakes up here in Sask so most times you're the only angler on the lake.
Heading home.
Love the story. Those unknown bucks add a level of excitement to the hunt for sure (the buck in my avatar pic was a stranger to me). Congrats on a really nice deer!!
I put a cam on video at this rubbing post that's been used a bunch over the years. Took a while before they started hitting it this year but when they did it got fairly busy. Once I get the video uploaded to YouTube I'll put the link here.

And the big boys. They've been run ragged for the past three weeks. They're going to be hitting food hard ... plots, mast, whatever.
This guy's been around for the last year. This morning was the first time I've seen him in our yard though. Would you try to catch it or just enjoy it being around?
