Great story and thanks for sharing it on here. I thoroughly enjoyed it (read it four times already, :) ).
It's awesome how it all worked out so well ... like it was meant to be.
Congrats on an amazing deer!!
I agree 100 percent, Skip. That's what makes sites like this special. Most here get it. What hunting is about. The time spent outdoors, time with friends/family, enjoying nature. Being 100% genuinely happy for others' success. It takes a conscious effort to cast off human nature's pettiness...
As I already said, Congrats!
Some trailcam pics would be awesome to see. I'm not knocking them, because I think they look cool, but I'm having a hard time imagining what he really looked like from your harvest photos.
Nice to see all those pictures from you guys!! I only expected that a few of the Northern folks on here would have had a chance to see them.
Hopefully you got a look at some, Skip.
The past week, heck the past year, has been great for viewing Aurora borealis. Please tell me that the last couple nights have been visible for you guys too.
@ OP, If you're sure it's nitrogen deficiency, and your ph isn't too low, consider ammonium sulfate fertilizer. Brassicas need lots of sulfur and ammonium sulfate won't gas off like urea. And it's relatively inexpensive.
