For pell lime - Old rule of thumb used to be 100# / acre to raise pH by .1 point. 500# should get you around 6.2 or so, depending on soil type.

How big is the field? Would be nice to get an Ag lime truck in there. If not, pelletized is next best option.

Looking to use something besides T post + scrapestick. Big bucks tear out limb every time.. Going to foam in an untreaded post and drill holes for branches. Prefer pine or cedar. My fallback is to make one with the tons of cedars I have..
