How high does rye have to be before the deer will avoid it? I really hate mowing it this time of year especially with the peas and radishes. My pull behind will only go 5 - 6 inches high.

I am afraid to touch it with colder temps in a few weeks plus how will the peas and radishes react?

Goatman, Do you think this is because of lack of moisture? Mine are doing the same thing in areas and I am wondering if it is moisture, to close of a planting or do I need to add more urea? Thank you for your reply.

Thanks Skip. I was hoping to put them in this weekend but the farmer won't be able to get his oats out until next week. I have to drive on his oats to get to where I want to plant. Always something.

Is there anything one can spray on EW and Milo that has a ton of grasses in it? Mine is struggling but it could be something that I did incorrectly on my end. We have had a lot of rain and cool days but Gunny's is doing well just a half hour away.
