After the deer season closes it can get up to 60 IMO. I love being outdoors but cutting timber in 24" of snow on a hillside is not a good time. As far as the yotes I do love hunting them but I might start trapping them as well. I think I could shoot plenty of them anyway in 60 degree...

Nice job on the follow up. I have noticed that especially with a muzzy that they will go a lot farther before they start to bleed out.

I am pretty sure that I could find out quite a bit also due to having a couple of friends that hunt there every year. I myself would go yet this year if I could find someone that wanted to go. You can never get a young dog on to many birds to early.

I plan on doing some walking this weekend for the elusive ringed necked pheasant. I was just wondering of some public area West of the Charles City/Mason City area that may hold one or two birds. Does anyone have any suggestions for a guy and his young dog? Thank you in advance.
