I visited the plot over the weekend. Last fall I planted winter rye and a white clover mix. It looks like once the rye is gone, there are going to be some good sized bald spots. I probably didn't get the clover seed spread evenly. Should I spread some clover seed in those spots this spring...

I remember reading that urea should be tilled in or spread before a rain so the N is not lost into the air. Is that only for urea? Would it apply to something like 25-10-10 in a bag from the coop?

Do you know that clover no longer fixes nitrogen once it flowers? Just another reason to clip it every so often, especially if it's Berseem plowdown clover...
