For those of you that have your own ground, how often do people call/ stop by and ask for permission to hunt? In 14 years, only ONE person has called. My telephone # is clearly wrote on the sign. Seems like if people see a sign, it automatically means " don't ask". Up here, I'd say the odds...

Had a fella from Texas inquire about a northern deer hunt. I asked a friend that owns a couple of small farms if he and his friend could come up and hunt. " sure, no problem". They are flying back home with 2 fine mn bucks.

Hmmm.. Bout all I can add is...., I Big buck hit there can withstand that shot WAY MORE then a young buck/ doe. However, even with 8" of penetration, that should be a dead deer.
