    Brassicas

+1. Till and plant. Other option is likely a mess of poor germination and weeds. Can always come back and spray cleth if Rye comes back too thick.

    Anonymous pic thread???

Or I guess you could always just not tell people where your farm(s) are? Closest guy to me is probably @letemgrow, but he seems like a pretty nice guy so I'd probably skip doing that to his farm this year.. :p

    Brassicas

If you have a lot of bare soil, you could try broadcasting. But I'd still pack them in. Preferably before a good rain. As for timing - Where are you located?

Jbohn - Grain Sorghum is a great solution where lack of moisture is an issue. Very drought tolerant. Just another idea..

    Brassicas

Straight brassica mix only? 2-3# PTT / acre. For radish, I've gone 5# / acre but going to 8# / acre this year. Even in a mix, I feel I can get away with a lot more radish..

+1. Larger seed needs more incorporation. Rye or wheat would be a better bet.

    Drilling seed or Broadcasting

You may be surprised. I’ve grown a great Milo crop in 5.6 pH before, but we had timely rains. Used about 80# N / acre. Even with brassicas you’ll want to fertilize some. Otherwise, can always wait until late August and drill in a cereal grain mix. Some combination of...

    Drilling seed or Broadcasting

Is it actual WGF (90 Day) Milo? If so, you still have time to get a decent milo crop. But don't wait past this weekend to plant. Without some sort of weed control, you won't have bare ground to broadcast into come August or September.. I think you need to decide if you want a milo field...
