It is very possible that many of us could have shot deer infected with cwd, because the incubation period is 2 years and they don't show symptoms up until the last 6 to 8 weeks.
The reason for the captive deer having it is because deer that are cwd positive are being shipped from state to state, plus captive deer obviously have more contact with each other due to limited space. The Joe Rogan episode #1154 was excellent on this. Also, people unknowingly would transport...
The key with any acorn around here is to get the sucker to survive until you can get it into some
Direct fall planting into the ground? or putting them in a rootmaker until around november and then inside???
Gonna mow my trails for the last time Sunday morning after a youth hunt saturday night. My daughter and nephew are super busy with school so only get 1 shot the 1st couple weeks. I can't wait. Father/Daughter time.

I think the last week of October this year will be awesome. It is always a good time and the moon will be right this year for awesome sits. But I will be working afternoons, so I will be hunting in the mornings that week.

MO Border, I would wait a week. It is always a question of when cold weather and hard frosts hit. Some years planting now is good and my friend has planted triticale in Oct and it has done well.
Imagine how the farmers are when their family depends on rain to put food on the table. Most of us are just worried because of our lack of rain for food plots. I will be switching everything over to Triticale or Winter rye in two weeks unless a Monsoon happens near Brighton.
