I saw something very similar except they were two 3 year olds. They are in a form of sparring. Won't get into the rough stuff until late October, early November. This "sparring" is almost like a form of deer scouting out there competition for the rut, hence the two older deer running in to check...

I have had trouble with telling the difference between some deer on my trail can pics. Is there any specific things you can look at to tell the difference. They arnt great pictures but it's just what i have to work with. If I could find out how to put pics on here via iPhone I could post them...

Unless I want to take a 3 mile hike through the timber there isn't another way unfortunately. And that would be stupid to do anyways. I like the idea of throwing something, not a half bad idea.

Well I am at College in Moorhead, but my land is in Ortonville, and I heard they got some snow. I've been out of the stand for a few weeks and hoping this weekend is a good one!

Here in western minnesota we got a couple inches of snow last night. How will this affect the deer? More movement? More buck activity

Does anyone think it's to late to be moving stands or potentially putting up another?

I was out on now opener on September 15 (Minnesota) and I had 5 different bucks out in the day light from 7:30-9, two of which were nice bucks. The closest they got were only about 55 yards. Any tactics to get them in a little closer this early in the year? Thought of maybe light rattling being...

I hope Chumlee is joking at 125. This deer has way to much tine length and mass to be under 160. I cam up with 167 give or take a few. He's a beast regardless. I hope we get to find out what it scores!
