I'm planting about 40 acres of CP2 in the coming months. its all corn stubble, I had half of it bailed and the rest just sat. Right now they appear to be pretty clean, but imagine there's will be some weeds in the weeks to come. I'm planning on a late May planting.
Only thing I don't like is...
The guy that is supposed to be drilling mine is not going to be able to get to my farm until May/June. He swears that he has had some of his best stands come with late plantings because it enables enough time to get in there and get a good kill on all of the weeds.
Is this just a load of BS...
Yessir, I just threw out $200 a day as a random number. I was thinking more along the lines of people who would charge a daily fee for the weekend warriors versus the guys who would pay $3000 for a 5 day hunt.
I am just curious, how many people on this site would be willing to take other people hunting for money? Let's just say a guy offered you $200 a day to take him out for a weekend, would you do it? Would you be willing to bring people on to your own property? Why or why not?
I go merino wool, under armour rut suit, and HBS. pretty compact and easy to move, the only complaint is carrying the HBS in.
BUT I wouldnt change it. I hate wearing a ton of layers.
I've got nothing for yo CJ, except that I can see why you were so confused why he wasnt dead.
I would assume (depending on angle) that you were in fact above the spine. Which means you had to miss it by millimeters.
WOW.
I have the exact same thing, mine was baled in late August and now I have a bit of a mess. Will a guy be able to drill my switch through the sod/alf alfa and then nuke it with gly in the spring?
What the heck is a fluffy?
