G5 C Max. I put one on my bow in the middle of the summer and its much better than the Pro V. I had to send my Pro V back 3 times for repairs over the course of 3 years of owning one.
Coyotes are nabbing the fawns. I've been getting a ton of coyotes on camera. We tried the whole calling them in thing last year but they're too smart for that. We're going to war with them this year with traps. Can't wait to put a .22 in the head of one of them. I know you can never truly...
Great bows. I don't own one, but I own a Prime which G5 also makes. I've shot a few of the Quest demo bows and they can hang with anything else out there.
I'm not an expert but if we're talking only rut period, using logic you need to use the moon to determine where you sit. Full moon you know they're probably near their bedding. Dark period they're probably going to be up on their feet near doe beds and traveling funnels between crop fields...
I think the age of the deer is more of a trophy than the antlers, personal opinion. No doubt those old warriors would have a place on my wall if given the opportunity to kill them. Sounds like that first deer has been through the ringer. I like his character though.
We have a good crop...
Your FMJ's are tougher than the carbons you mentioned so if you're breaking FMJ's you're definitely going to be breaking the all carbon arrows. Anyways, if you decide to switch I'd set your bow to spec and re-tune since there will be slight differences in arrow spine and weight distribution...
Nice rig Mike. That's going to be pure luxury. Its easy to sweat with a stand and sticks on your back attached to a 2200. I'm thinking about ditching the 2200 this year and going with the Molle straps.
How old are they when they get that big? Is it age or genetics that create size in a black bear? That thing looks like a tank...I can't imagine the kind you speak of that you would go after. Cool pics!
Yes they are. Here's to hoping for a warm, not too wet spring and a mild winter. I was pleasantly surprised with the bird numbers this year after our winter from hell.
