I used to have permission on a dozen or so cool properties, but fatherhood and family life can act as a temperance, and just maintaining relationships with that many landowners is a LOT of work. Now I mainly focus on 2 private chunks, with some random hunts on family ground thrown in.

Those deer are awesome. Hunt hard, and for that moment when you have to decide. If any of them comes in and makes your heart start to pound...that's your answer.
