Not saying this would be fun. But picture a lot of what we have already. Tall buildings housing lots of people. Lots of vertical built greenhouse types of structures and small animals being raised.
We are about to the technology point where it might surprise people how little acreage it would...
What is happening is that as farmers have grown in size 300 acres used to be big. Now there are families that rent and plant 20,000
actual acres. There are farmers and people out there who have massive cash on hand. So they can pay what they want for a piece next to them that they really want...
If you are a bowhunter.....Bushnell Broadhead!!!!!
Just this fall my Leupold ranged a doe at 29, Wyatt's Bushnell Broadhead said 19.7 yards.
Had he trusted mine he would have shot over her. Their 3D scores jumped when they got the Bushnell Broadhead.
The major poacher deterrent that they are offsets any thing else in my opinion.
We have so much thick thick cover that you could know where a big buck is, but getting to see him in real life is another story.
Maybe in more open cover they would get you in rifle range.
We knew where a monster...
Yes it is always nice when you can back down and get the same results.
I shot 85 lbs back in the late 80's....287 fps.
Then in 2008 62lbs got me the same 287 fps with same grain arrow.
Betting that 50 lb Image might get close with my arrow.
The boys and I were watching Podium Archer with MFJJ last night. I am a Hoyt guy but this little bow looked impressive.
Seemed to be screaming fast to me. Or am I just way behind times?
Anybody else think this is really fast?
Well I am still not sure I am not living in a dream. This whole season has been buck less for Tackett, Wyatt, and myself. Except for two big boys. Only a spike and forky in range for the boys. They were so hoping for even a 110-120 to show in bow range. But Tackett ended up with Junior(148 7/8)...
Yep. This was Junior. He really needed another year or two. Had two years of pics and videos.
He was pretty calm and I figured no one else would pass him.
Tackett got this buck in youth firearms season this past weekend. Crazy part is that it could have been a bow kill. Tackett was on the ground on a bucket. Saw his rack coming slowly. He was eating buck brush. Tackett did a 180 on the bucket and turned around. Said he was thinking the whole time...
Had one in my scope in 1987 at 80 yards in sunlight on 9 power on my scope. It was not a coyote which is why I didn't shoot.
Treed one in 1998 while coonhunting. Huge male looking head on him. Golfball sized green eyes will raise the hair on the back of your neck up. Have seen about 7 to 8 of...
So I have shot a 3 pin sight for 42 years. Tackett my 13 year old bought a used HHA Optimizer when he bought a used Mathews Vertix. Had he not bought the Optimizer I wouldn’t have discovered how good he can shoot. He walked it all the way back to 90 yards on a block target. So in one months we...
He is up to 45 Lbs now. Could pull more but I am leaving it there for now. QAD exodus 100 grains. Easton 5 mm axis. Twenty six inch draw I think.
Elite Basin bow
Stan element release
HHA Tetra sight
HHA dual stabilizer system
Two years ago he shot a doe at 10 yards perfect broadside with his...
Saturday night Wyatt and I were hunting out of “Karli’s tree”. It is a big oak with no tree stand. It will accommodate two hunters side by side. We stand on a limb that is about 7’ off the ground and sit on the other two limbs. (Perfect natural seat and foot platform)
Text book hunt. He spots...
At my tech school we have been talking about doing things for veterans. Was surfing YouTube this weekend and came across this. My dad and brother and uncle served. So I know that veterans carry a lot with them. Just felt compelled to share this with Veterans Day approaching.
