Here is a crazy jump on a great deer that has vanished....The top 2 pics are of this deer in 2011, the next 2 are of the deer in 2012. Never got any good hard horn pics as he left the farm in 2011 but was showing up on all the same cams in 2012. I guess I can't say for sure that it is the same...
Another taxidermy question.
Any of you guys know of a shop that does good work on small game life sized mounts? A friend is looking for someone to do a double fox set up. We are located in South Central IA but would be willing to travel if needed.
Thanks!
Boyd - do you have a price list for the stuff or would rather send something like that in a PM?
I understand the quiet factor when it comes to using the berber fleece for the fanatic but I feel like the fleece really takes away from the pattern. I really like the looks of the pattern on the...
Just bought a Savage 111TrophyHunter package 6.5x284 for upcoming western hunts. Can't wait to make up some hand loads and get it dialed in.
Bought @ Buds Guns and got a smoking deal. Gun with Nikon 3x9x40 (swapping to a different gun) for $482. Then Savage is offering $75 rebate on this model...
I have also been looking for another route besides Bushnell. Was very loyal the last few years but this year has me scratching my head. Maybe some other Bushnell guys can chime in. I have 2 Bushnell HD models, 1 camo and 1 Black/Brown. The Camo camera worked fine all summer but now seems to turn...
I like the idea of going back to flash also.
ShedderKG, I see it says the cam will do 3k to 6k pics depending on batteries used. Do you find this to be about right?
Really enjoyed the Browing Strikeforce so far this year though. Battery life with only 6 AA's isn't quite as good as a Bushnell camera but my Bushnell's have been failing me this year so I am dealing with the shorter life.
The other thing about the camera is is goes from 10mp pics or has an...
Have the Vortex 12x50's as I was gearing up for a trip west next year and really like them. They are a bit over kill in the woods but are awesome when glassing open areas.
You will enjoy the Vortex binos
Here is a stud I was getting on camera a few years back during the 1st year of rampant EHD down here in Southern Iowa. He along with 7 or 8 other bucks (nothing of size) were frequenting the beans on my 120 acre farm. Most vanished by late summer. I could smell dead deer going into the tree...
MNbuckhunter - I would be interested in these pac boots that you speak of but they are not available @ Cabelas any longer. Any idea of something similar or another store. Thanks!
