Got back in the stand at noon, sat for a half hour and had a shooter come in to 30 yards...behind me, in brush. Guess I learned the hard way to trim more shooting lanes. Pretty neat seeing a 160-170 inch 10 point at 12:30 in the afternoon.

got all our crops out by the 10th of oct been sitting in stands on different farms ever since. Have yet to see a mature buck and have yet to see any chasing.
decided to get one after I heard about a friend of mine passing away last December from falling from his stand. Everyone should wear one even in a ladder stand.
