There used to be a fairly large group of us 30-40 year olds from Central Iowa that would go to many of the WU and PF banquets around the state. We would drop a pretty substantial ammount of money at every banquet, between buying the tables, donations, raffel tickets ect... The number one reason...

What's really effin stupid is a semi-auto shotgun with a pistol grip that's used solely for turkey hunting, by a law abiding outdoorsman, is now considered an "assault weapon" and illegal. Give me a break!

I learned no matter what, on a marginal hit, let the deer lay over night. I let my liver shot buck lay for 3 hours and that wasn't long enough. I bumped him out of his bed aftar about 300 yards. After that, I tracked him over 2 miles for 2 days and never found him.
