    Brassicas

I have had excellent brassicas with no fertilizer the right soils. Since n is highly mobile in the soil you can always bradcast the urea before a rain if you think they need a boost. I'm trying to elimimate tillage from my rotation wherever possible and brassicas have been my most successful...

    Pig weed

This is funny... pigweed has been the number one plant showing browse pressure on my farm the last few weeks! I have been riding around looking at the dozens of species that I have planted thinking it would have been much easier to just till some ground and let it go crazy lol

    Tree Planting

I was able to swing by the farm and check on my plantings from a few weeks ago, it is soooo exciting to see the baby trees and shrubs start to pop!

Roundup Ready Corn & Soybean Food Plot

You will for sure loose some over that time, some years it is more, some less. We figure that in 8 weeks all the N will be atleast 6 in down if not further. You will loose Urea into the air and below the root zone.

    Tree Planting

It is hard to say, I have not done a proper survey. The only time I've been in the main block of trees was last December before we purchased the property. Once we were the proud owners the timber became a 17+- acre refuge. No humans for any reason unless you shoot a deer and it runs in there...

    Switchgrass

It depends on what you have competing with your switch grass. If it were mine I would try to kill the competition with either herbicide or burn and re-seed switch to fill in the bad areas.

    Native Warm Season Grass

Last time we worked with plateau the phd seemed surprised we would spray any more than 8 ounces per acre. It has been a fantastic product for us.

    DIY Elk hunt.

I would love to hunt Arizona, but when I looked into it the pp costs and wait had an opportunity cost that was prohibitive. If you have any good suggestions for units that are under the radar feel free to send us a pm!

    DIY Elk hunt.

So true!! Your weapon totally depends on what you are comfortable with and what your goals are. If you are willing to wait I would build preference in Colorado and Wyoming, try to draw a premo unit in New Mexico and hunt OTC in Colorado or Montana while you are waiting.
