    Looking for TC Omega

A friend of mine has the Z5 with a thumb hole stock, and my son likes the way it looks and seals up by BP, not into bolt gun or break open. As he says, Every one has them, but not the Omega style.

    Cleaning a breech plug

Great Info. You would be surprised how many people think that they only need to use a torch tip cleaner or a pick to clean the flash hole only, and not the flash channel in front of the primer pocket where the carbon builds up. Then wondering why there accuracy had fallen off or are having miss...

    Smokeless ML Project

NICE. Out my bolt gun I was using IMR 3031, was needing to raise the charge from 89 gr during summer to 92.5 for winter to maintain 2800 fps using the 310 asg bullet. I switched to Luke's 335 asg bullet with change in powder to IMR 8208 XBR, charge was 88.5 gr of powder, shot it in Oct. avg...

Remington 700 ML Stainless 54 cal Muzzleloader

Sabotless only, as said above, 1 less thing to worry about. You will need an adjustable smooth die to resize your bullets for the barrel. Luke has a couple you tube video's you can watch and have a good laugh.

    Smokeless ML Project

The Scout or Hunter in 45/70 are very accurate guns out to 300 yards. I have a Scout, and a friend has one also, nice light weight carry gun, great for tree stands or blinds, the weight on the Scout loaded with Scope is just over 8 lbs, Have been using IMR 4198 powder 60 gr with the 270 E MAX...

Remington 700 ML Stainless 54 cal Muzzleloader

I have a Remington 700 ML converted over with a 45 cal Brux Barrel, and a 700 CF also with a 45 cal Heavy Varmit Brux Barrel, both gun have reached out to 600 yards on metal plates, and both have taken deer out to 400 and 500 yards. I do my part at the Range, and have put my time and Bullets...

Help Sighting in new Smokeless Muzzy!

IF you do your part and get to know your gun and most importantly get to know how your scope works at the range, IF everything comes together 400 yards. I would check with Luke about the 275 gr X bullets he has or Dennis at Fury Bullets about his 275 star tip 2, both bullets shoot great and they...

Help Sighting in new Smokeless Muzzy!

If it is a 209 primer set up, you will need a wad under the bullet in cold weather for a better seal, H 4198 is better for cold weather also, but IMR will work. 65 gr of powder with the 270 E MAX should put you around 2650 FPS, sight in at 100 yards.

    Cva Scout V2

Scout is an accurate little gun, put a box of shells thru it, then had it switched over to a Smokeless muzzy, nice carrying gun in the hills and for a tree stand.

    Smokeless Muzzleloader, cva hunter

With the Hunter and Scout, using the 209 primer set up with 60 gr of IMR 4198 will be about 2350 fps with a 275 gr bullet, that is what I get out of my Scout, and a friend does also. A solid 300 yard guns, and VERY cheap and accurate set up for just getting your feet into Smokeless shooting.
