The caliber is easily a 300 yard caliber. 400-500 isn't out of the question IF the gun will shoot it well enough to be consistent at those distances. Rule of thumb is wanting a gun that will shoot an inch or less at 100 yards (MOA). If you have a gun that can only hold a 2" pattern at 100...
Definitely close enough to make you wonder.... The only things that would make me say no is it looks like the distance from the base to the brow and then the brow to the G2 are different. Those should stay very very similar. But maybe it the pics.
This was the first time I went in probably 14 years and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. Yes there are a lot of outfitters and non-whitetail related items that don't seem to fit the purpose of the show. But I can look past that stuff without a problem. I'm with Ishi in that I had a great time...

That's rough! My late muzzy season was about the same way. Didn't see much at all for bucks that I would have pulled the trigger on. Good luck finding his sheds!
