    Lane seeding Q

Keep your eyes open for a cheap mower and just leave it. Then other than gas you would be set. :)

    What Would You Do?

I would hope that he would bust the rest of his rack up so it would be a no brainer and no one else would want to shoot hime either. All joking aside, I would have to decide in the moment. Do you have history with him from years past or did he just show up this year?

    Camera's for filming hunts

For anyone filming hunts what are you guys using? I have a Canon T1i and want to get something better. I would be using it almost strictly for video so don't know to get just a video camera or stay with DSLR and upgrade equipment. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I never even met or knew him and that picture made me tear up. Since we moved to an acreage I have looked at all his post about a thousand times on food plots.

    Ben's first buck

Yeah, we discussed that he almost beat my biggest deer but also told him I was 36 when I got mine so he has another 28 years to better me. What is nice though, is that I am sure we could go out tomorrow and if a doe or fork horn would come out he would want to shoot it and be just as excited as...

Youth Hunting Age, Opinions & Thoughts on when to start

So my son and daughter started at 6 and 8 on turkeys due to that was the first season open after they expressed they wanted to go. In my head, like Central Iowa said I thought it would be one of the safest ways for them to hunt. We were fortunate enough to hunt private so I was able to have a...

    Ben's first buck

Here is my son Ben’s first buck. He got a doe last year so he has really out done himself this year. We got to the blind about 4:45 Saturday. This guy was the 3rd deer to come into range. We had a 8pt that came by at 5:30 but just couldn’t get it done. About 20mins before...

Yeah the cape on that deer is awesome. I wanted to just cuddle up with it when we found it. Its soft as a baby's butt and not a defect on it.

    Avery duck blind

We used rivnuts to install the feet. Then it was easy to take on and off. Also use the chairs you plan on hunting with so you get the height right. You could probably youtube it and watch some installation videos.

    Poison Ivy survey

I always get it. I would give my left nut to never get it again. I think I got in early summer and haven't been able to get rid of it. I am pretty cautious but I always get just enough to be a hassle.

Brassicas - how thick or thin

I planted some brassica's a week or so ago. They are coming up nicely but being a food plot rookie, I am wondering I am to thin. How many plants per square foot should I have? If anyone has any pictures of optimal seed/plant coverage, that would be awesome. I am am thinking I am thin in...
