So currently my disc'd food plots are under water from a river flooding. I was just getting ready to plant brassica's but mother natures decided it wasn't time. So once the water recedes, how dry does it have to be? I am going to use a hand seeder, ground was all nice and ready prior to rain...
I had 10" since 4:30pm yesterday. That is a little S.E of Norwalk. Needless to say, food plots are going to have to wait until river goes back into its banks. Ridiculous.
Yeah i am in the same boat, neighbor disc'd the plots while I was on vacation and it has been raining since I have got home. I was wanting to run over it with a section of fencing to smooth it out since I don't have a cultipacker, then seed brassica's. But now I am wondering if I just seed...
I use pcv pipe, but then I ziptie them on instead of tape. Then i also have spares hanging stands that i can nail into trees. I just got a nice dewalt 20v drill so will be switching to screws instead of nails.
Dropped 3 off in November and got three back last month. Guy only does a 100 or so a year. Still have my my late muzzy deer there, should be done next month is my guess.
Talking with my taxi, longest part of the whole process is getting the hide ready. After its ready, it takes about a day...
We recently moved to a place that has about 10 acres down in a river bottom. It was grown up with weeds and smaller trees. I mowed it short, then have been removing trees as time allowed. I have about 3 acres total cleaned out. I am wanting to disc it once it dries out, spray it and then...
I won a Yeti 45 at a NWTF banquet. Its nice but I would never buy one for my current needs. If a person was doing serious camping or something it would be nice. Hauling beer around is not practical. I do like that it doesn't sweat in my backseat.
Has anyone ever used these? Where I want to put a garage/building there is pretty decent grade. Talking probably a 8' drop in 30'. A buddy said I might be better off doing something like that rather than a retaining wall and tons of fill. Just curious if anyone on here has done anything like...
I bought my son the T/C Impact since he couldn't get a deer during any of the shotgun seasons. I took the spacer out and its a nice little unit. We sighted it in with 50g of blackhorn 209. Then load it with 70g when hunting. I haven't shot it past 100yrds since I don't feel comfortable with...
What - did somebody say fire? Depending on location and timing I could possibly help also. Who doesn't love the heat from a fire and the smell of smoke!
I like a few people in the recent past am looking for pull behind rough cut mower for my utv until I can justify buying a tractor. I am in Warren county.
I am needing some simple electrical work done. If there is any licensed electricians out there that would like to earn some extra on the side, shoot me a PM. I am in the southern Altoona area.
Thanks.

So I am looking at getting another safe in the next month or so. Where around the Des Moines area is a good place to get a good one at a decent price. I would like one with 40-50 capacity and a good fire rating.
