Has anyone hunted elk in CO with an outfitter? I have been putting in for preference points for a few years and have the time and money to go next year. I was thinking of going with a outfitter for the first time. If anyone has some good outfitters let me know.

I used oxy clean and put some dawn dish soap with it. It did a good job. I wrapped the antler bases with cling wrap real tight to keep the wood and color in the antlers.

I have the Primos Blind luck and like it. Rogers has the double wide on sale i believe for 299. I have not seen the Rhino blinds but hear good things about them.

I took some down to Ulrich's down in Pella and had sticks made. They only take boned out meat. I got the pricing sheet somewhere if you are interested. Took about 3 weeks before it was done.

I have a Eberlestock X2 that you can get a bow holder attachment for. I dont have that but probably will get it sometime. I use the pack to carry my stand and camera in on. Its spendy but I got tired of buying a cheaper pack about every year.

He scored 180 5/8 gross. He only weighed 150lbs field dressed. I will figure out net tomorrow at work. Think I will try to send a tooth in to figure out his age.

Any guesses? We scored him yesterday. A buddy guessed him within a 1/8" from a picture I sent him.

I posted some pictures on my desktop computer using photo bucket. I just added a couple more using photo bucket from my phone. The ones I uploaded from my desktop I can't see. The ones uploaded just I can see fine through the app on my phone.

What he said. I watched a buck bedded with a doe Wednesday and had another buck chasing a doe all over. They were grunting and bleating all over and he just watched and never even stood up. Only hope is for that doe to bring him to you.

Pretty cool, awesome seeing all these kids having success.

Was fortunate today and harvested my best buck ever. He was chasing a doe and she decided to run by my tree at 5 yards and it proved to me a fatal mistake for this joker.
