He is still around and a giant 8 point this year. He's in the same trails and bedding as last year. I'm on my first sit in this area for him tonight.

Mid 30's for me too. Walk in with your light clothes on and not sweat. Climb in the HBS and hunt. Packs in easier than a coat.

Now y'all have me thinking shooting him. We'll see what happens if he walks out this weekend.

Not to hijack this thread but I hunt deep woods setups. I've heard a decoy in the woods is not good. Anybody have success with this? I have a spot that is super thick and just need something to stop them instead of a grunt for a shot. I have maybe 20 yards to get their attention.

I ran into a guy that hunts up in that area that said he knew this buck got taken. I've always wanted to see it. Anybody on here know this deer or who shot it. It's from some public land around granger. I got a couple pics of it, in 2012 but that was it.

Make that 3 years. However for the first time ever I seen a shooter that I have been getting on camera while in the stand. 80 yards away and wanted nothing to do with me. I also verified Keith Richards is still alive and even more reclusive this year.
