Mellinium is by far the best all day sitting stand out there. Large platforms also. Get a M-50 and never look back. I even hunt portable with mine. Get multiple receiver's and you can have multiple setups for one stand.

Heck, Bill even resorted to hunting public ground this year. If you watched his shows this year, he said he was going to. Thats how bad it is if he has to leave his private deer mecca to hunt public to shoot a mature buck.

I think there needs to be a board at the whitetail classic for people to pin their unfilled tags on to send to the gov and dnr.

Watching it now, sounds like the Gov is up to speed on the numbers situation and EHD, etc. Maybe next year that Governer's hunt should be done on public land. Didn't help he seen like 30 deer pile into the field.

I agree, he looks awful skinny in the hindquarters. He looks like he's just run down from rut and shotgunners. Not much corn or beans around where this is. Lots of acorns and that's about it.

Nothin wrong with seeing where the deer are coming from. If they put a stand up next to the fence pointing to the other property, not cool, but legal. Unless they shot over the fence.

The Iowa Dnr has an events section that you can sort by fishing tournaments. Since they all need to pay for a permit now they are all on there.
