    Favorite New Product

So I know we've already done the list of gear you can't do without, but I guess I'm always on the lookout for new things to make my life a little easier etc, so I thought it would be interesting to hear from everybody about something new they used for the first time this last year. It doesn't...

waterproof gear: gander mountain beartooth, any good?

I have a bunch of the regular Tech2O stuff and I agree it's nothing special. This new stuff is supposed to have some sort of teflon coating. Now that certainly sounds a little gimmicky, but I thought I'd check it out, so I picked some up yesterday. For half price, I figured why not. This stuff...

anybody have any experience with the Guide Series Men's TecH2O Beartooth Rain Pant or Jacket? GM is having a deal right now, buy the jacket and get the pants for free. i'm tempted to put the trigger but would like some more reviews first...

    Cold feet?

I've always had problems with cold feet over the years. It took me a while to realize cotton socks under my wool socks were a dumb idea (duh). Then I finally figured that the treestand platform sucks quite a bit of heat from my feet. Now, just this past year, I determined that my feet were...

    Hunting the warm weather

Been out since 540 this AM. Saw a couple small bucks and at least 2 different doe/fawn groups. Not a thing since 10am. Afternoon sits haven't been very productive for me this week, so I don't really have high hopes for the next 3.5 hrs, especially given the warm temps.

    The Best $60....

I agree on both counts! Can't see how this thing costs more than a few bucks worth of material but gosh it sure is comfy! Haven't had it out in the rain or anything yet...curoius to see how it will hold up!

    BH209 Cleaner?

Could it be the rounds you are using and not the BH? Plastic residue from sabots?

    BH209 Cleaner?

A few years back, i switched to bore scrubber for all my long guns. It's a foam you spray in the barrel and then you let it sit there for 30 min and then swab it out. I follow that up with a bore snake with a little #9 on it and then rem oil. Seems to work nice. They sell all sorts of additional...

    Lest we forget...

Since often times I'm out there by myself with no camera man, I've made good use of the Joby Gorillapod http://www.amazon.com/Joby-GP1-A1EN-GorillaPod-Flexible-Tripod/dp/B000EVSLRO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1351003596&sr=8-2&keywords=gorillapod It's only a few bucks and easily deployable. I've...
