Does the 6% timber # include public ground, just private, or both? Maybe point out that we have less public than ( I think ) 46 other states. Seems like I read that Hawaii has as much as we do but could be wrong. Regardless, the proposed limit on purchasing power of the DNR or CCB’s isn’t wanted.
I understand the rules, just a small bit of sarcasm there.
What are your thoughts? NR pays 3k to hunt residents farm, and stay at the lodge. RLO guides the hunt but shoots nothing, Indirectly that is selling the tag. It happens and we all know it is happening. NR knows that by paying the 3k on...
Check eBay, Best Buy, Walmart, etc, somebody sells a pkg that has multiple mounts for different options. I don’t remember where I found mine a few years back but they are out there.
I mentioned the IHAP idea earlier, there’s no reason to shut off the deer hunting tho. Herd management is one of the main reasons for getting the ground opened up.
We hunt a good chunk of IHAP ground and the deer circle right back into it. You’re not going to run the deer off by hunting it.
Whether it’s an Anti or NR, the amount of hunting will be about the same. The NRLO will find someone who has no interest in hunting and grant them permission. That’s all that’s required, whether or not they go, they had permission.
Just an idea, but require the ground to be put into the IHAP...
Maybe it has changed then. I’ve never purchased a tag for youth season because I was told that we had to follow the rules for the season it was purchased for. The tag was good for any season but I couldn’t carry a weapon. I will ck with the local officer and see what I’m told now.
Maybe a little off base but is it still required that the “chaperone” be unarmed when using the floating tag? It used to be that way so I always ended up purchasing a tag for the kid in the season we were in so I could hunt also. (Shotgun or ML) The rules are stated in bold, “party hunting is...
Had a similar situation last night. Sitting in the blind, deer are working their way closer as hoped, and the next thing you know there are 3 hounds chasing a couple does through the field. Completely ruined the hunt for a kid after his 1st deer. I’m assuming they were coyote hounds but they...
The FAQ at the bottom of your link states that there is a jag accessory that attaches to the ram rod. You then shove it back out the muzzle. Sounds simple enough. Another question would be: do you really need to remove the bullet? Remove the charge and you’re safe.
That’s a lot of birds. What part of the state were you hunting?
If you had 21 in your group, how many did the other group get? Or was that total for both?
