    Clover

All of my berseem, white combo and oats are beginning to come up in my plots. Can I spray with clethodim and not hurt them? Or, should I have done that the day I planted? Thanks for the help again!

    Switchgrass

OK, one final question. I had sprayed my frost seeded switch with a strong dose of atrizine and accuquest (ammonia sulfate). Should I go back here this next weekend and spray it with roundup powermax or do you think this will suffice? I noticed quite a bit of new clover growth on the exposed...

    Switchgrass

I realize that every soil demands a different fertilizer but is there a general number you guys have found that really helps a first year stand take off? I'm contemplating if it is worth the extra money to give my switchgrass a good boost this first year.

    Native Warm Season Grass

Thanks, I posted in the wrong title as I am talking about my frost seeded switchgrass. Thanks for the info, my dad is trying to get me to skip on spraying both gly and atrazine altogether. I think I have him talked in to doing them in the same mixture so we don't have to clean out the sprayer...

    Native Warm Season Grass

If I am doing a heavy dose of atrizine do I still need to do a treatment of gly? Does atrizine only work as a pre-emergent? Thanks for the help!

    CIR VS. Egyptian Wheat

The guy @ Osenbaugh's suggested to mix in some Kanlow switch that gets around 9 feet in height with the CIR switch for my plot screens. It may not be as tall as EW but it was easier and cheaper for me to plant once for several yrs rather than keep planting every year. Everyone has their own...

    Party Hunting ML Season

What's going to happen is people are going to get shot by "coyote" hunters who have 3rd season shotgun tags.... errr late muzzle loader tags. This is a terrible idea and is only going to allow more opportunities for non-ethical hunting to take place. The part that sucks is people who spend...

    Bushnell Trophy vs. Moultrie M80

I got 11 pictures out of my first set of lithiums with my new M-80 during late muzzleloader season. Disappointing to say the least.

    Bushnell Trophy vs. Moultrie M80

Quick M-80 question. I am trying to get the update to take on my cameras. I have downloaded the update to an empty card. I turned on my camera with it in the aim position like it says and all I have on the screen is "version (number series)". It doesn't seem to acknowledge the update on the...

    Best place to order nwsg

I just bought some switch from Osenbaughs as well. The guy I talked to had some good recommendations for me and seemed very knowledgeable. I will do business there again. They have a web site as well. http://www.prairieseedfarms.com/ I just saw that they are a site sponsor as well!!

    Clover

I'm looking at putting some plow down clover on a property this spring. Does anyone have any experience in doing this? I was wanting to plant this spring then leave half in the clover while discing in turnips, radishes and beets for hunting plots in August. Would this get some nitrogen in the...

    Who plants switchgrass?

I am looking to get some switchgrass planted on a farm and was wondering if you could go ahead and drill it in right now with the ground being soft still. Do you think this would work with the prospect of freezing/thawing ahead? I don't want to waste money but I'm thinking that drilling in...

    QUICK question

Realize that every one lung hit is an individual case with steepness of angle or degree of quartering postion of the deer (up/down, quartering to/quartering away). I believe that you always have to error on the side of caution and give the deer the needed time to expire. With that being said...
