Received my smoker I've been wanting from Santa. I have a deer roast and some backstraps I'm wanting to try in it. Anyone have any recipes or suggestions on what to use for a rub or marinade?

That's sweet, I may have to try one of those. Not to start a new subject but do alot of you have good luck with decoys? Seems they usually burn me. I've had it work on some younger bucks but the big boys always seem to be to skeptical of it.
