I just got the 880 2nd gen for 69.00 from Rogers outdoors for some extra cams. The best I ever had was the 3 year old moultries, most unreliable browning strikeforce ,not counting the stealthcam or primos I tried for 1 week
I think deer do care,i run several different kinds but just ordered a couple of these to get free shipping. There are some guys on all things habitat really like these for close shots
I was told by a biologist that most are born very close to same time and these are just yearlings that still have their spotted coat and it will shed out
I did a riparian in Kansas and it came time to maintain and it took alot of talking to convince them I could burn it without burning all the trees down. There are some new programs coming out to increase the number of acres
We have hunted south of Gillete a couple times. What we did was apply for the special draw.We had to pay alittle more but everyone said chances were better. We then bought doe tags.Set up popups close to water tanks right by the pump buildings and we shot I think 8 does and 2 bucks we just went...

Great write up,good luck to you both in the upcoming season.Know what that shoulder stuff is,my daughter tore her labreum and capsule playing softball. She ended up switching to left handed bow.In fact she is at ESU in Emporia where you stopped. We have some some great turkeys in Kansas so i bet...
I shot thunderheads for years and killed, elk, deer, bear, mountain lion with them and didn't have an issue except for longer shots with flight.I now shoot the slick trick mag they shoot great and penetrate well
One option if erosi0n is an issue one option may be available and that is doing CP33 around the edge and then crops in rest of field. This is a strip up to 120ft of NWSG.You guys have to through alot more than we do in kansas. We have to enroll in CRP to get approved for that but we plant what...
The ones I move from sandy soil usually don't have dirt on the roots but the others I leave the soil and think they are easier to keep alive.makes a lot of difference digging them with my razor back shovel, now if we could get some rain
For the wetland they usually have to come out and take samples to see if it was a wetland earlier.Cover, food and water, you can add small water holes if needed.Do you have a a lot of cover
do you have enough cover to give up some? Will that area hold water at least some of the time?I have an area that NRCS put in shallow wetland and it did hold water part of the year. They had me plant NWSG and I didn't know better at the time but it mostly quit holding water because of all the...
There is a difference between scarification and stratifying.Actually for the price if you are moving and planting small ones I would buy from MDC or arborgen.Thats if you need hundreds. If my bird deal works I may try it again but right now I am moving some that range from 14-36 inches with a shovel
Cedar berries have to be scarified to remove the outside husk. This can be done in a blender then soaked in hydrogen peroxide. There is a good thread over on qdma on this.I found a place where thousands of birds roost on a tower. After a rain there are piles of clean passed through cedar berries.I...
