Not personally, but my dad, uncle and great uncle bought the farm the family had been leasing since the 50s. Bought it in 1991. We will just say my uncle is hard-headed and very difficult to get along with. "My way or the highway" type attitude. For the sake of family, we have kept relations and...
Well this is good to know. Thanks for the input. The whole idea was to be able to hunt in a bottom where the wind can swirl from time to time. If the enclosed blind won't help much then I need to figure out a different approach.
Screwy deal. I would have done the same thing as you as far as sending the quiver to a fellow bowhunter before payment...trust the brotherhood, right!? Wow, what a guy...
I just found out someone spent $427 at target on thanksgiving on MY cabelas credit card. Also tried to swipe it at 2...
Deer really haven't been moving much since last Friday for me. I saw nothing tonight and had seen only a few the previous two nights right at dark. Last week on the 25th, 26th & 27th the plots were covered in deer...according to the cams. Now all movement seems to be 3am...
Let us know how the action goes!

Funny you say that because I was hunting an apple orchard just off the field edge and timber and there was a lot of traffic in there...easy to see in the snow.
Had my best sit of the year tonight...who woulda thunk it right on the middle of rifle season in WI. Saw 15 deer, 6 bucks. Passed 2 that were 140" and then had a mid 150s at 10 yards toward end of shooting light. Couldn't get a shot off but man did he have me shaking. Darn! Hopefully he goes by...
Ran up to our MN farm yesterday...beans are all gone right now. Brassicas (first time planting there) have had very little usage as of yet. Just starting to dig in a few areas in the snow but very little usage.
His phone probly got too cold and would shut down. Happens all the time to me. You can put it in your pocket near a handwarmer and then turn it back on a short while later and it should function. But at that point I would be hesitant to be using it freely in the cold as I would save it to check...
