I would splurge for the CVA Accura V2 myself. If it wasn't in the budget, I would go with the CVA Optima V2. Both are amazing guns. SS is a must. I simply don't know much or heard much about traditions. Probably good guns but just don't hear much about them.

I would be leery of farm n fleet rope. What was the load rating of that rope? The stuff I see online is 325lbs which isn't enough.

Savage 220 without doubt. It is very light, no recoil, amazing trigger and by far the most accurate slug gun I have shot. If your stand hunting or sitting I believe it is one of the best. If your mainly doing pushing, maybe you would want a semi auto of some sort. The savage 220 is a bolt action.
