Just my.02, I think its a bad timing thing. Z7 is a great bow and with all extras, its at a good price.. first of the year guys are thinking about shooting league ( good time to sell) and then right before 3D starts would be another good time as well..and even up to October when other rare ducks...

I will say, this alone is great advice! Although, the shot hunter A can't make, and hunter B can (ethically)with consistancy, differ greatly.:way:

I agree about buyin a slug gun... and thats all I use unless weather says otherwise, or in thick thick cover. But to say using a bird gun shooting rifled slugs- which is what those slugs are designed for(smoothbores)- is unethical? That, my friend, is way out of line.

On one piece, we have to hollar every so often to stay aligned and let others know of deer headed their way. Really thick cover and rough terrain. Other than that, I've only had to yell a few times to have my guys kill a good buck or a crippled deer.

Depends on how the hunt unfolds. If it happens just like I planned and he has a good set of head gear, you bet I'll kill him. I like taking bigger bucks, but above all im still a hunter. When I own ground myself (<10yr plan) then I'll be much more selective and gladly eat a tag sandwhich.

I stood still, for well over 10mins, thinking a Bush was a deer.. apparently i thought it moved lol and eventually got startled by a doe that snuck in without a sound right under me! Jumped more than I'd like to admit! Lol

Easton axis 400 and the new rage extreme this year topped off with a nocturnal (red) No complaints from me! Been shootin rage for 5 years. Axis is new switch for me this year. Used to shoot beaman ICS hunters.

My dad had to get some unexpected work done today, so Buffalo Rider and I are sitting now. Had a busted up 8 chasing a doe run right at us before we got in the stand at 2:00. Wind is pick in up now, rain stopped, sun is shining, and plenty of time for stuff to happen!:)

Lol I didn't go once when it was windy, and regretted it the next morning.... biggest buck on cam walked by both cameras which would have put him right past my stand! And I was at Applebee's with my wife lol bout got sick just thinking about it..

If this were the case they'd outlaw treestands:confused: A treestand is one of the best places for a gun hunter as other guys kick deer around. And, in many cases, much safer than being on the ground
