I think it's more about teaching them good hunting skills, and yes you still need to have hunting skills even on a deer farm just as you do it the real world! Hunting public or the real world as you stated, doesn't automatically make you a better hunter than a person who hunts private ground...
So it's not deer hunting if a person patterns deer, passes on immature deer including doe and bucks to improve the herd, manages his property for better habitat to make it better deer hunting? You sound like a very jealous hunter who wishes he had the land to manage for better deer hunting?
Well if you're hunting deer around any crop land then you must be deer farming too? Shooting a deer inside a fenced area is what most would consider deer farming because the deer aren't free to go wherever they want. Do you know a 100% that the deer you killed aren't in some form "farmed deer"...
You have to be realistic as to what size and age of deer are in the areas you hunt. Not all places will have a 150" deer living around them, but one might pass through during the rut, maybe. Like others said, if you see one that you like, then decide to kill it or hope it's around next year...
I say a combination of too warm and the deer didn't need the cover to bed down so just stayed out in the middle of no where. I saw a lot of deer, just nothing I was looking for and will take a doe and hopefully use my buck tag during late ML.
Still a lot of corn in some areas and the deer...
I think it will be interpreted differently depending on the officer. I was told we could sit in our blinds on the same farm and use the other's tag if needed. The other tag holder needs to be close enough to be able to tag the deer in the allotted time.
A Transportation Tag with the date of...
Be in my blind around 6 or so and won't leave until after shooting hours are over. Will do the same Sunday and maybe just an afternoon later before season is over if needed. Having a nice setup makes it a little easier to stay all day no matter what the weather does. I always pack plenty to...
I bought the camo stuff at Walmart you use to wrap around a tree stand and doubled the size i needed to cover the windows. I have a couple magnets on the bottom so it doesn't move if I have the window cracked open and couple of those pegboard tacks to fasten it to the side if I want one window...
I have a Ruger SR40, bitone with 4 1/2" barrel, 2 15 round mags and 8 boxes of ammo. I bought it new, can send pics if anyone's interested. Need to have a weapons permit to purchase. $275 takes it all. 712-249-3041. Atlantic.

Just tell the owner you were stopped by a couple guys hunting the public and they asked if the dogs belonged to you? They told you the dogs might go missing if caught running the public land again.
My 45 cal Encore is setup for longer distances so I shoot 120 gr by volume and 195 gr Barnes with easy load blue sabot. This load is pretty close to the range settings on the Leopold Ultra Slam scope I have.
Looks nice and will be very comfortable to hunt out of. That's a lot of windows, might want to get some of the screening material and cover some of the windows to hide your movement. My blind is on 8' post and I had to cover the windows because the deer was picking up movement inside the...
